Day 8 - Glenrowan

Today, despite the weather being stormy, we spent a day exploring downtown Glenrowan, including a great Ned Kelly museum in the main street which housed a faithful reproduction of the Kelly family cottage and a lot of items from the era. We also visited the site of the siege, the capture site and railroad station where the Kelly gang tried to de-rail the train before the siege.  In the afternoon I explored some of the 35 acres of bushland behind the caravan park we stayed at.  The town really gives you a sense of what it must have been like in those hard times and what drove the men to try and make a living they way they did.
