Day 7 - Katoomba to Glenrowan

Today we left beautiful Katoomba around 9am and made our way back towards Sydney and then South.  Our original destination was Gundagai but we decided we would aim a little further for Glenrowan, allowing us to stay there 2 nights at a much nicer park.

A few hours from Sydney I looked in my side mirror and saw a large amount of white smoke, assumed the worst and quickly pulled over to inspect the cause.  After double checking everything I realised it must have been the car next to me, most probably from heavy braking as we were on a downhill section of freeway.  We continued on a little paranoid but soon realised the car was running as sweetly as ever.

We stopped in for lunch at the Dog on the Tuckerbox at Gundagai and continued on to Holbrook to check out the HMAS Otway and the Submarine Museum there.  Then another hour and a half to Glenrowan where we checked into the great little Glenrowan holiday park run by some lovely people, Gary and Jill.

The park only has about 20 sites but has great facilities including a pool. After setting up camp it was time for a refreshing swim before cooking dinner and calling it a night.
