Day 2 - Coffs Harbour to Crescent Head

Wonderful weather this morning so we packed up camp, had breakkie and headed for the Big Banana, mainly for Braidens favourite, the toboggan ride. After a few runs up and down the ride, we enjoyed a browse through the souvenir shop and some morning tea before heading on to Crescent head a couple of hours further South.  We checked in at the caravan park, picked a shady site and I set up the camper while Kel and Braiden organised lunch.  Then it was off to the beach for a swim.  Last time we were here the waters were crystal clear, unfortunately due to all the recent rains the water was the colour of coffee, stained from the Ti Trees upstream. Braiden still enjoyed his swim though and we spent a few hours on the beach before returning to camp to cook dinner and spend some time enjoying the cool breeze.
Some of the other campers have told us the park was hit by a massive storm yesterday and a lot of peoples' vans suffered damage, however today's weather is fantastic so it looks like we timed our visit well.
