Day 13 - Melbourne
This morning we bought an all day transit ticket and caught the bus through Footscray to the city from out front of the caravan park, to visit the Queen Victoria markets. Once there we enjoyed some breakfast before walking up and down the massive aisles of clothing, souvenirs, fruit and veg and all the assorted usual market stalls. The temperature was around 38 degrees so around midday we caught a cab to Lygon Street, known for it's excellent Italian food and coffee, which met all expectations. Then it was time to catch a tram back to the city and a bus back home. We met a young couple, Ryan and Lauren who were staying at the park a few sites down from us at the pool and afterwards joined them for beers and a BBQ.
