After settling in we visited the Urooma Opal museum and grabbed some pizza. I opted for the Coat of Arms pizza, emu and kangaroo with Brie and Spinach. Delicious!

Day 23 - Port Augusta to Coober Pedy
Last night was extremely windy, making for a disrupted night of sleep in the tent, however by morning it was dead calm and beautiful weather. We hit the road around 8:30 for the 530kms north through the Woomera Defence Area to Coober Pedy, stopping for breakfast at Spuds Roadhouse at Pimba, and then a fuel stop at Glendambo. Along the way we took some photos of Lake Hart, almost dry at the moment, and arrived at Coober Pedy around 15:30 to check in at The Underground Motel.
